Brief

Betfair provide a unique betting experience to their users – allowing people to bet both ‘For’ and ‘Against’ the outcome from a number of events, including sports, politics and TV.

They wanted to bring betting to the masses – creating a Facebook app that allowed people to learn how to bet, without financial implications. The betting experience would use the power of Betfair, allowing users to place the same bets, but to trade in points against their friends and family.

We developed a number of personas, varying according to:-

  • Gender
  • Experience of betting
  • Sports enjoyed
  • Time online

Sitemap & Wireframes

Due to the complex nature of spread betting, we produced wireframes utilising modules. Each module contained a small amount of data, allowing each to be analysed & business logic applied.

This eased the production of the project, and gave clear business requirements to the designers, and ultimately the developers
